NPQ SENCO providers announced

The Department for Education has announced the providers who have been approved to deliver the new SENCO National Professional Qualification (NPQ). The new mandatory qualification will have it’s first delivery from September 2024. 

  • Ambition Institute 
  • Best Practice Network 
  • Church of England 
  • National Institute of Teaching 
  • Teach First 
  • University College London Institute of Education 

The course includes 8 topics:

  • school culture
  • statutory framework
  • identification of need
  • teaching
  • behaviour
  • leading and managing provision
  • professional development
  • implementation
