Call for evidence on inclusion

The Centre for Young Lives are seeking to develop practice and policy for developing inclusive schools. They are would like those on the education frontline, service and system leaders, academics and educationalists, parents and young people to share their experiences and expertise with them to help shape these policies. While inclusion is a term used but often without a full understanding of what it means, the project team are looking at the following areas:

  1. What would a truly inclusive education system, in which all young people thrive, look like?
  2. What prevents us from having a truly inclusive education system now?
  3. How should a future government remove those barriers?
  4. What specific policies could bring about the change we seek?

The deadline for submissions is 3rd June  and should be submitted as a word document to info@centreforyounglives.org.uk with the subject title ‘Call for Evidence – Inclusive Schools submission’.
