Limited commercial opportunities on first of its kind online SEND portal
The SEND Gateway is an online portal offering education professionals free, easy to access, high quality information, resources and training for meeting the needs of children and young people age 0 – 25 with special educational needs and disabilities.
Since its launch, the SEND Gateway has been populated exclusively by the voluntary and community sector (VCS) supporting children. The opportunity now exists to further develop the range of resources available on the SEND Gateway as content can now include resources from the private sector to support special educational needs and disabilities.
A limited number of resource providers and publishers from the private sector are now being invited to promote resources, news, training and events using the SEND Gateway.
Invited organisations can promote resources for a period of 12 months for the basic fee of £300. Additional promotional opportunities are available on SEND Gateway pages upon request to enhance your presence on this unique education portal.
The facility to add up to 10 priced resources and 20 free resources to the SEND Gateway in line with the SEND Gateway Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).
Resources submitted to the SEND Gateway can include
- Practical resources
- Training and events
- News items
Publishers have the opportunity to contribute to a SEND Gateway Advisory Group, who will provide feedback and guidance on the development of the SEND Gateway over the next 12 months. Receive regular email newsletters and reports including Google Analytics for the site, access to reports on activity relating to your resources, access to feedback from registered users on your resources.
All publishers with resources on the SEND Gateway are required to sign up the SEND Gateway Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Please take a look at the AUP to check that your organisation is able to meet criteria that will be applied when deciding which resources will be accepted.
