Communication Works South 2020
This year we are celebrating Assistive Technology (AT) in the South and North of England as we hold two Communication Works events. A key event to learn about the use of innovative technology to enable new independence in learning and communicating and assist with identifying the technology that can best suit the individual needs of our students. All part of the aims for the Governments EdTech Strategy in levelling the playing field for people with special educational needs and disabilities.
CENMAC is a team of advisory teachers with many years’ experience of working across all phases of education. We have a huge loan bank of equipment so we can tailor the provision to the pupil's access needs. We offer many options to access the service and depending on where the pupil lives, the service can be free to the school.
CENMAC provides training in the supportive software used in schools and you can either have the training in your school or at our central CENMAC training venue.
CENMAC provides ongoing support so as the pupil moves through the school, equipment and support is adapted or changed to ensure the best provision through all phases of education.
CENMAC offers early intervention, training and support to staff to increase their confidence and knowledge. We have a high level of skills and competencies of practice within our experienced multi disciplinary team. Referring a pupil couldn't be easier, anyone can do it. Just get in contact.
