Top tips for understanding ADHD and supporting children in the classroom
Created by Gillian Beck from Stranmillis University in consultation with Lorraine McAleer from Learning SPACE, this useful document can be used by classroom teachers and teaching assistants to understand and support children in the classroom with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The document will detail some of the struggles children with ADHD are faced with, how this can impact their behaviour and attainment and what educators can do in the classroom to support pupils with ADHD.
