Autism Education Trust
The Autism Education Trust (AET) is a DfE funded national partnership that operates across England. The AET creates and delivers a national professional development programme to enhance knowledge, understanding and skills in the workforce across Early Years, Schools and Post-16 settings to meet the needs of autistic children and young people.
The AET Partnership consists of a range of organisations, including local authorities, the voluntary sector, universities and schools. These organisations apply to become AET Training Partners, appointed and licensed by the AET to deliver the AET Programme.
The AET is widely recognised as the leading autism education programme in England. The high quality of its training programme, resources and materials and the reputation of the AET brand has been carefully curated and maintained. All the materials have been developed with the direct involvement of leading autism specialists, academics, education professionals and autistic people.
