Our map specifically targets Wave 3 (1:1), Wave 2 (1:1/small group) and close the gap provision. Currently we have six assessment points each academic year. Based on learning continuum targets we revisit/update the provision map; identify outcomes and steps to achieve and how we do this. Teaching assistants and teachers are part of this process and parents and children are involved in evaluation. A baseline is taken and assessment is made at the end of the six week intervention to identify progress made and used to inform next steps. This is a whole school consistent approach resulting in good progress for all pupils with cognition and learning needs.
