Individual Target Plans and Development of Inclusion Folders
Every class has a yellow inclusion folder. This holds Individual Target Plans (ITP), profiles and any additional data for SEND. The staff annotate and evaluate child performance on the ITPs at least once a fortnight in the ‘evidence’ column. This then informs the pupil’s next ITP which are renewed termly. This system has very much ensured that ITPs have become working documents used by both teachers and teaching assistants. Staff are more aware of pupil targets, next steps and individual needs. Class planning and intervention planning remains relevant and focused.
