The programme was developed to support birth parents of children with complex needs. The programme was based on the Kim Golding Nurturing Attachments Training Programme (2013) and the premises that much of the difficulties experienced by the parents is rooted in their attachment history and experiences of being parented.
On completion of the Webinar participants will further their understanding of:
• What are the different areas of the brain
• What each area of the brain does
• How any damage to the brain can affect the way a person thinks, behaves and responds
This webinar will give education professionals the opportunity to better understand how an injury to a specific part of the brain can impact on learning.
Pupils are taught algorithms as part of the KS2 and KS3 NC Computing curriculum. We currently teach using BeeBots and Flowol. We have now purchased Dash robots and tablets for the software. We have extended the SoW to include planning, writing and testing an algorithm designed to provide acts of kindness and offer them strategies to manage their anxiety.
Finham Park School is a mainstream secondary school in Coventry. Wilf joined the school in Year 9 on a managed transfer after being permanently excluded from another school following a behaviour incident. He is now in the 6th form and studying for his A levels.
