Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is a complex Autism Spectrum Condition characterised by anxiety driven need to be in control. Children and young people with PDA need a different approach to the ones used with other Autism Spectrum conditions. This course will teach learners how PDA differs from other types of autism.

This course is for people who manage a child, a young person or an adult who is exhibiting challenging behaviour that restricts them from accessing a range of opportunities.
