Using the Engagement Model in Mainstream

  • Online
  • West Midlands
  • 16 Feb 2022 (16:00 - 17:30)

This session will focus upon the Engagement Model. The engagement model is the assessment (replacing P scales 1 to 4) for pupils working below the standard of national curriculum assessments and not engaged in subject-specific study at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The session will provide an introduction to or reinforcement of the principles behind the model and then move on to look at how it is implemented in a mainstream setting.

The session will be led by Alison Ley from the Pennine Teaching and Learning Development Centre.
